At Harris Academy Tottenham, Business Studies is currently taught at KS4 and KS5. At KS4 pupils study the new Business AQA GCSE specification and the Business AQA A Level specification at KS5.
Our aim is to give pupils the opportunity to explore real business issues and how businesses work. Pupils will consider the practical application of business concepts. The units provide opportunities to explore theories and concepts in the most relevant way, through the context of events in the business and economic world.
Mission Statement
Our pupils will develop the knowledge and skills needed to analyse data, think critically about issues and make informed decisions. These are all skills that are needed for further study and employment. Our curriculum is therefore designed to provide them with the knowledge and tools that they need to be effective in either scenario once they leave school.
