Visionpath Education is a social enterprise that creates powerful connections between the next generation and outstanding businesses. That is where Harris Tottenham comes in, we believe we have the next generation of pupils who will go on to work with outstanding businesses. Keeping that in view, we decided to work with Visionpath to enhance the learning experience of our pupils and learn about the world of work and connect with organisations they’d love to work for.
The first SKILL workshop was hosted at the new Microsoft HQ in London, the pupils had to devise their business idea, problem solve, followed by a pitch to industry experts (Tiger’s Cage). The panel of judges were entrepreneurs themselves who have set up successful business’s. The pupils represented their Academy at the highest standards, were extremely creative in their ideas and confident when pitching in the Tiger’s Cage. They developed their communication and presentation skills, working along with mentors from the industry. All pupils that attended the event commented that they really enjoyed their day and are now more aware of the skills they should develop thorough school as they can see the importance of these skills.
The next workshop is being hosted by Osborne Clarke, another global organization that specializes in legal practice and we look forward to our pupils having an invaluable experience at such an early stage of their lives
