The 1st dose of the COVID-19 vaccine should give you good protection from coronavirus from 3 or 4 weeks after you've had it. But you need to have the 2 doses of the vaccine to give you longer lasting protection. Read more: https://t.co/qAOGzpFb5w https://t.co/knfGizv5Jd

He's absolutely right. I've worked with too many people who think they are saving these kids, or who think/say/act in a way that says "these kids can't..." If I expect it of and for my own child then I expect it of and for the children I teach. https://t.co/e0AHgYaOOb

Student Enrolment 2021

Welcome to Harris Tottenham Sixth Form, an outstanding further educational provision located in North London.

Our Sixth Form is based in the heart of Tottenham, and forms a vital part of exciting regeneration in the Tottenham Hale area. We are a hub for ambitious young people who want to make a difference to their local area and beyond.

In light of current circumstances this year, we are unfortunately unable to welcome you to our site in person but we hope you enjoy our virtual Sixth Form tour.

A Level and CTEC Bridging Projects

Thank you for submitting your application to join Harris Tottenham Sixth Form in September 2021. By this time, successful applicants will have received their conditional offer letter. If you are still unsure of the status of your application, please contact the Sixth Form team who can help.

Further information, including your invitation to enrolment, will be posted to you in the summer term.

To prepare you for your studies in Year 12 at Harris Tottenham Sixth Form, you must review and complete the relevant A Level and CTEC Bridging Projects over the summer break.

Click HERE to download a Word document which has details of all the Bridging Projects for each subject, including links to additional resources.

Content from these Bridging Projects will be used in the opening Year 12 Induction Exams - successful applicants can expect to receive more information on these exams on Enrolment day in August 2021.

If you are still undecided as to which courses you would like to study with us, we recommend you complete the Bridging Projects to give further clarification on course content.

Don't hesitate to contact the Sixth Form Team with any further queries.

Two strands of post-16 study

There are two strands of post sixteen study available at Harris Tottenham Sixth Form.

The first is traditional; we’re an academic centre of excellence that ensures our pupils gain the opportunities, support and guidance needed to access the UK’s leading universities. The A Level courses we offer are highly regarded by Russell Group universities, specialist colleges and by top employers.

The second is the Kinetic Football Academy launched in 2020. Here, students typically take one CTEC qualification, alongside an A-level (receiving a total of three A-level/equivalent qualifications in total) and bespoke football coaching from leading professionals throughout the week. The academy adopts a holistic approach to develop each young person as a ‘whole’, rather than from just a technical or tactical component. Alongside our excellent football provision we deliver a volunteering programme, mentoring scheme, mental health support and employability workshops.

Beyond academic excellence

We see our Sixth Form students as the ultimate ambassadors for our academy; our younger students aspire to be in your shoes. As such, we place you into one of our houses, named after leading scientists and mathematicians.

Your dedicated Sixth Form tutor provides a daily point of contact for you, whilst ensuring you have the support you need to excel in your learning. There are opportunities to work alongside our younger students in a range of capacities, if you want to, so that you feel a part of our family.

Our Sixth Form continues to grow from strength to strength, and as part of the Harris Federation, we have a range of partnerships with leading universities, established through the excellent reputation of our Federation including the University of Oxford, King’s College and UCL.

Enrichment

As a pupil in our sixth form, you will be given the opportunity to take part in a range of enrichment activities. These are aimed at providing you with a variety of experiences to enhance your time here and make it even more enjoyable, as well as boosting your university and job applications for when you move on at the end of year 13.

Some of these include climbing and bouldering at our local climbing centre, a variety of different sports, Music and Performing Arts, working alongside our primary school with some of the younger children, attending lectures and seminars at our partner school Harris Westminster Sixth Form and many more.

Your two years here will be filled with opportunities to develop your experience. With excellent links into central London, we aim to use London as our classroom, to give you the fully-rounded experience of Sixth Form life you deserve.

We look forward to meeting you.
