Introduction

As the Principal for the Academy, I am responsible for ensuring that we deliver an outstanding education for the students.

I am also responsible for the safety and welfare of all students, and all staff working for the Academy.

I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead at the Academy.


Focus for the academic year

Our primary focus for this academic year is to embed an ethos of excellence with all colleagues and students striving to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Introduction

I am the Vice Principal for Secondary and Sixth Form.

My areas of responsibility include:

- Curriculum Development

- Assessment, Recording and Reporting

Focus for the academic year

To ensure that the implementation of our curriculum at KS4 and KS5 is rigorous and meets the needs of our learners.

To establish our Sixth Form as a centre of excellence in Haringey.

Introduction

I am the Vice Principal in charge of the Primary provision at the Academy.

I am responsible for the EYFS provision, and Year 1 and 2 provision at the Academy.

 


Focus for the academic year

To ensure that provision in the Primary is outstanding, with a particular focus on the EYFS GLD data, and Phonics Screening checks.

Senior Assistant Principal

Introduction

I am the Senior Assistant Principal responsible for Personal Development programmes, Behaviour, Safety and Welfare.

I am the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

I am also the Academy SENCO. I work with colleagues to ensure that appropriate provision is in place for all students, to enable them to access the learning.

To build upon the foundations set to ensure a comprehensive programme of personal development for learners.

To ensure that our provision for learners with additional needs is outstanding across the Academy.

Assistant Principal - Ethos for Learning

Introduction

I am the Assistant Principal with responsibility for Ethos for Learning. I am responsible for Behaviour, Personal Development and Well being of all pupils.

I am also responsible for the Communications and Arts Faculties.

To build upon our excellent foundations, to ensure that as the Academy grows, our systems and structures for behaviour and well being grow to meet the needs of our students.

Introduction

I am the Assistant Principal in charge of Innovation for Learning. This includes the development of Teaching, Learning and Assessment, EAL and Literacy and Professional Development.

I am also responsible for the Humanities and STEM faculties.

To ensure that Teaching and Learning at the Academy is Outstanding, as we grow.

To ensure that a comprehensive Literacy and EAL provision is in place for all learners.

Head of Pythagoras House (Yellow)

Introduction

I am the Faculty Leader for Arts, which includes Dance, Drama, Music,  Art, Design Technology and PE.

I am also the Head of Pythagoras House.

My whole school responsibility is the Wider Curriculum, including community engagement.

To ensure that Arts provision across the Academy is outstanding. 

To build a comprehensive programme of wider engagement, including performances, extra curricular provision and community engagement.

Faculty Leader - STEM

Head of Franklin House (Green)

Introduction

I am the Faculty Leader for STEM which includes Science, Maths and STEM,

I am also the Head of Franklin House.

My whole school responsibility is the Specialism; Mathematics, Numeracy and Enterprise.

To ensure that provision within the STEM faculty is outstanding, and ensure that we are seen as a centre of excellence for STEM and Mathematics in the local and wider area.

I am the Faculty Leader for Humanities  which includes History, Geography, RE and Social Sciences.

I am also the Head of Turing House.

My whole school responsibility is the Achievement, with a focus on the progress made by key groups.

 To ensure that provision within the Humanities faculty is outstanding, and ensure that all students, from all key groups make outstanding progress.

Introduction

I am the Faculty Leader for Communications which includes English, Media and Modern Languages.

I am also the Head of Drew House.

My whole school responsibility is the Literacy, EAL and Communications with Stakeholders.

To ensure that provision within the Communications  faculty is outstanding, and ensure that Literacy and EAL provision are excellent for all. To ensure that parental communication and engagement is effective.
